We’ve been battling it out for nearly four decades on campaigns ranging from president of the United States, U.S. Senate, and governor to corporate public affairs campaigns.
Jim Barnett is a veteran political and public affairs professional with experience that spreads presidential, statewide, local, corporate and issue campaigns.
Barnett has played key strategic and management roles for some of the country’s most high-profile political campaigns. Most recently, he served as campaign manager for Governor Larry Hogan’s historic reelection. Receiving more votes than any candidate for governor of either party ever, it was the first time a Republican governor won reelection since 1954 and only the second time in the history of the state.
Barnett managed Senator John McCain’s 2008 come from behind victory in the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary, vaulting McCain to the Republican presidential nomination. He later served as McCain’s New England Regional Campaign Manager.
Former Vermont Governor Jim Douglas described Barnett as “an architect” of his 2002 upset victory. He went on
to serve as a senior advisor to Governor Douglas in each of his three reelection wins. He also managed U.S. Senator Scott Brown’s 2012 campaign, a $45 million operation and one of the marquee races of the cycle where Brown outpaced the home state Republican presidential nominee by 15 points.
Barnett is a past chairman of the Vermont Republican Party where he helped Republicans capture half of the state’s six constitutional offices in perhaps the nation’s most liberal state. While there, Barnett developed what a leading political reporter described as “the most effective…communications shop in state politics.” Vermont Business
Magazine said of Barnett that he is “credited with reorganizing a state party that was in shambles and for his media savvy and voracious fundraising.”
Barnett is a cum laude graduate of American University, Vermont native and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
With more than a decade of political, communications, crisis management and grassroots campaign experience, Jim
Conroy is among the industry’s leaders in the design and implementation of a fully integrated modern campaign.
In 2014, Conroy managed the successful campaign of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, going on to serve as chief of staff to Governor-elect’s transition effort, and then in the administration as Senior Advisor to the
Governor. Governor Baker told the Boston Globe that Conroy is “someone whose advice and whose instinct and whose insight on public policy matters, and on governing generally, are first rate.”
Conroy is an expert in campaign and public affairs communications integrated across the full spectrum of cutting- edge platforms. He has designed and executed successful campaigns for a host of legislative initiatives across a broad spectrum of issues.
A former deputy campaign manager for Congressman Rob Simmons, campaign manager for Connecticut Lt. Governor Michael Fedele and executive director of the Connecticut Republican Party, Conroy has extensive national experience.
Raised in Old Saybrook, CT, Conroy attended Syracuse University and currently resides in Waltham, MA.
Elissa Voccola has more than a decade of experience working in the political arena. She has held leadership positions in competitive races at every level and has managed all elements of campaigns including paid voter contact programs, grassroots field operations, communications, and fundraising as well as messaging and strategy development. She has advised and managed races for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and Governor, as well as campaigns for state legislature and local government.
Most recently, Elissa has served as the Northeast Political Director for the Republican National Committee. In this position she was an advisor to all targeted campaigns and state parties across eight states. She directed all political and field operations for the RNC, including recruitment, training, and management of over 100 staff
members. She was also responsible for logistics for all surrogate events including events for the First Family and the President of the United States.
Prior to her role at the Republican National Committee, Voccola was a part of the Romney for President campaign in 2012, traveling to a dozen western states during the Republican primary before managing political operations in Colorado for the general election. She then went on to be the Executive Director of both the Connecticut and New Hampshire Republican Parties. In 2016, Elissa served on Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign in New Hampshire before being recruited to join Chris Sununu’s successful campaign for Governor.
Voccola was born and raised in Connecticut, where she currently resides with her fiancé. She studied political science and history at Clarkson University and Western Connecticut State University.
